10 workers stranded in isolated scenic spot   

发改委:中国将鼓励私人飞行 考虑低空对个人开放

国家发展改革委员会基础产业司司长黄民在20日的《国务院关于促进民航业发展的若干意见》新闻发布会上表示,中国政府将“积极促进通用航空产业的发展”,包括低空空域对个人的开放,具体政策正在研究当中。

Shijiazhuang (CNS) -- A storm hit the national scenic spot of Yesanpo located southwest of Beijing on Saturday, deluging it with 364.4 mm of rain as 8 a.m. on Sunday, according to the Hebei Provincial Bureau of Meteorology. Ten construction workers were stranded on the isolated island.

Eighty counties and cities in Hebei Province suffered through thunderstorms, a dozen cities were pummelled by strong winds in a short period of time as water flooded in from all directions. The Yesanpo area was generally flooded .

At present, local police are trying to reach and rescue the stranded in Yesanpo.
