粤首次网络直播“民告官” 司法公开不受舆论左右

一名祖籍广东清远的香港人不满房屋被强拆，状告广东省国土资源厅，广东省国土资源厅对一审判决不满提起上诉。该案2日下午在广州市中级法院二审开庭，广东《羊城晚报》旗下的金羊网对案件进行同步直播。这是广东省内首宗通过网络直播的“民告官”案件。

Guangzhou (CNS) -- The website of the Yangcheng Evening News Group hosted a live webcast of the second trial of the house demolition case between the Guangdong Department of Land and Resources and a Hong Kong citizen, at the Guangzhou Intermediate Court on Monday afternoon.

This is the first webcast of its kind in Guangdong and an effort by the provincial court system to establish open public relations, a goal already facilitated by a website, a weibo profile and an online case info inquiry platform. Every working weekday one case will be webcasted live.

Public comments have flooded in online, which are helpful to the judge formulating an appropriate verdict, both from legal and social perspectives, pointed out Vice President Yu Mingyong with the court.

The case selected for webcasting will be chosen randomly, and the selection will cover criminal, civil, administrative, hearing and implementation cases. Any party of the case to be webcast must offer a legal basis if it wants to keep the trail from the public, added Yu.
