China- Denmark join hands on low carbon lifestyles

Baoding (CNS) -- The Chinese city of Baoding and the Danish city of Sonderburg officially paired up as sister cities on Monday. They have prioritized exchanges on how to create low-carbon lifestyles and joint exploration of new ways to cope with the climate change.

Baoding,a significant production base for new energy and energy base equipment, welcomed a Danish delegation of 12 members from Sonderburg arranging their visit to a primary school where they paid special attention to its PV buildings and low-carbon venues. The delegation also investigated local enterprises that have made clever uses of new energy, including the Yingli Group and Baoding Tianwei Solarfilms Co.

Baoding is also among frst cities to join a new WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) initiative to explore technology that supports low carbon lifestyles in China's urban areas.

Sonderburg, known as a city of zero carbon emissions, has made significant achievements in the realm of energy and climate change solutions.
