Beijing (CNS) -- Beijing will open up 160 spots for flower appreciation and field trips, as well as organize about 44 cultural activities before Tomb-sweeping Day. The delicious menu will be valid for more than three months.

A classic act from A Dream in Red Mansions will be staged at the Grant View Garden during the national Qingming holiday, from April 2 to 4. Some other traditional plays and ceremonials are scheduled for theaters and parks around the capital.

Municipal parks and scenic zones are high on the recommended list for picnic planners and those chasing springs beauties in all its forms. Zhongshan Park, the Botanical Garden, Fenghuangling, Jiufeng National Forest Park have all prepared their unique gourmet snacks for visitors.

The municipal authority of landscape and forestry reminds residents to avoid peak hours of visitor flows to increase their chances of truly close contact with Nature.
