Beijing (CNS) -- Toyota officially launched its Yundong plan on Thursday, that the car enterprise is going to expand its business in China based on green transportation , welcab, services, career path tracking, and social responsibility.

Toyota aims to tap the significant Chinese market and raise its annual sales to around 1.6 to 1.8 million vehicles in 2015.

Akira Sasaki, head of Toyota China, announced the company's global vision last March. With regard to its very important adventure in China, Toyota will collaborate with the First Auto Works and the Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group in promoting its Yundong plan.

The Yundong plan identifies three stages of corporate exploration.

In 2012, the company's target is yearly sales of more than one million vehicles, as well as a sound foundation for its new energy car sector.

In 2015, the sales level will increase to 1.6 to 1.8 million, and its hybrid cars will be put into mass production in China under tripartite cooperation.

In the long run, the company plans to make the new energy car a strategic part of its entire business, expected to contribute to about 20 percent of entire sales.
