The first China Trade Week (CTW) Morocco opened on Wednesday in the Moroccan economical hub Casablanca with the participation of some 100 Chinese and Moroccan companies.

Held by Chinese group MIE Events, this three-day event brings together Moroccan's business people face-to-face with Chinese companies, creating a unique opportunity for exchange and developing trading and business relations.

The event offers a platform for local business community to meet Chinese manufacturers and take advantage of the event's high quality and competitively priced products.

The organizers expect some 4,000 people to visit Casablanca International Fair which hosts this event.

The CTW is hosted for the first time in Morocco, and has been held in the United Arab Emirates, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana and Ethiopia.
