Chinese software company Thunder Software Technology Co (ThunderSoft) announced on Monday that it has acquired Bulgarian mobile image software provider MM Solutions AD in an all-cash deal, through its wholly owned unit in Europe.
ThunderSoft said in a statement that its subsidiary AchieveSky Europe SARL signed an agreement with seller Texas Instruments Inc to buy 100 percent stake in the Bulgarian company for 31 million euros ($36.79 million).
ThunderSoft said the deal would strengthen its capabilities in sectors such as image technologies research and development as well as its endeavors in the artificial intelligence area.
