Zeng Xuezhong, vice president of Chinese telecommunication services provider ZTE Corp, has announced his resignation, citing "personal reasons," the company said in a public filing on Wednesday.
In recent years, ZTE's smartphone business has faced rising competition from domestic producers and recently agreed to pay up to $2.1 billion for violating U.S. sanctions.
