Multinational retailing corporation Wal-Mart Stores Inc announced plans to open 15 new stores in Central China's Hubei Province in the next three years, providing 6,000 jobs, domestic news portal china.com reported on Thursday.
The retailer will also team up with local authorities to further cooperate in procurement and e-business.
Wal-Mart already has 30 stores in the province, which remains a key procurement market for the U.S. company.
