As almost all big names on China's e-commerce giant Alibaba ready for the upcoming shopping festival on Nov. 11, Apple has also been adjusting its online shop on Alibaba shopping platform Tmall, with a 50 percent discount on its Beats headphones.

On Nov. 1, the Apple store was added to a list of Tmall shops already open for the 11/11 shopping festival. Other shops, such as Jack Jones and Nike, will offer even deeper discounts on the actual day of the festival, news site Guancha.cn reported.

While Apple will not offer a discount on its new model iPhone7, the shop is providing a 50 percent discount on its Beats by Dr. Dre headphones. Powerbeats 2 and Beats Solo 2 wireless earphones will be included in the discount. On Nov. 1, all products in Apple's Tmall store will also be available for purchase using interest-free installments for 12 months, according to the shop's Tmall page.

On Oct. 20, Tmall announced that the upcoming shopping festival will include 98,000 retailers from across the world, including Costco, Macy's and German Pool. The platform posted sales of 91.2 billion RMB ($13.5 billion) for the Nov. 11 event in 2015, up 60 percent year on year, Global Times reported.

Meanwhile, custoemrs accessing the Apple store on iOS 10.1.1 were able to use Alibaba's payment platform Alipay for app purchases beginning Nov. 1, along with other payment methods including UnionPay, Visa and Mastercard, according to Guancha.cn.
