The State Council on Thursday approved a pilot program involving service trade. The two-year pilot program covers 10 cities and five special trade zones.

The pilot program is intended to make mutual service trade easier and save trade companies costs.

The program also is designed to beef up the trade finance sector, supporting trade firms' supply chain expansion and overseas M&As.

Export-driven high-value added SMEs will be favored.
