He Jiacheng, former vice president of the China National School of Administration, has been placed under investigation for bribery, the Supreme People's Procuratorate announced on Monday.

He was subject to "coercive measures", a term which normally refers to detention.

He, 59, was born in Jiangsu province and he received a master's degree in economics from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

Between 2009 to 2014, he served as the vice president of the administration, a training center for middle and senior government officials in the Chinese government.

He was accused of using his job to benefit others and receive huge bribes, the prosecutor's office said. The case is still being investigated.
