China's Huawei and OPEN CAMP, the sports theme park to be opened in 2016, signed an agreement on Tuesday to collaborate within the technological area of the park.

The agreement, which was signed at the Olympic Stadium of Barcelona in Montjuic where the theme park will be located, considers that Huawei will provide communication equipment, data and voice processing for the park.

The company will also inform OPEN CAMP about the new products and improvements for maintenance of the equipment established in the park.

General Director of OPEN CAMP Paco Medina said they were very happy that Huawei collaborates with them. "The park goes more global" thanks to Huawei, he said.

Meanwhile, Huawei vice-president in Spain Li Xiaoke stated that the collaboration strengthened Huawei strategy in sports environments.

Barcelona will host the world's first sports theme park offering more than 50 virtual experiences linked to every sport. It will open in spring, 2016.
