China began testing of tow new models of high-speed trains which could run at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour on Tuesday, train maker CRRC Corp said on its Weibo account on Tuesday.
The new trains are the fruits of three years' research and China owns complete intellectual property rights, CRRC said, noting it is an important achievement as the design and manufacturing followed Chinese standards.
The research of Chinese standard high-speed train started in 2012 with a purpose of safe and economical operation in various conditions.
