The annual tone-setting Central Economic Work Conference will convene on December 9, revolving around the themes of the economy's new norm and deepened reforms, news portal takungpao.com reported on Wednesday.

The yearly growth target for 2015 is set to be proposed at the conference before being confirmed by a government work report to be delivered next year, said the report, which cites unidentified economists as saying that an expansion rate of 7-7.2 percent would be reasonable for the economy in 2015.

US-based financial news agency Market News International said in an early report dated November 12 that the Central Economic Work Conference to be held in December, may likely cut the annualized growth target to about 7 percent or even lower for next year.
