The Boao Forum for Asia Financial Cooperation Conference, which was held for the first time in the Middle East, concluded on Tuesday.

The conference will be held next year in Boao in south China's Hainan Province on March 26, and will open with a keynote speech by Chinese President Xi Jinping, said Yang Xiyu, Executive Vice President of Boao Forum for Asia Institute at the closing of the two-day event.

Yang said the 2015 conference will focus on ways to develop the Asian community.

Asked by Xinhua about the details of the conference, he said "the forum in 2015 will have 60 breakout sessions and discussions on economic cooperation. It will also touch on soft areas like education and public health."

Yang also commented on worries raised by some Western states that Beijing's pledge to provide 40 billion U.S. dollars to the Silk Road fund which was proposed by China, saying that China plans to expand economic ties through partnerships, win-win projects and mutual beneficiaries.

The New Silk Road, he added, was not designed to exclude any country but to involve all countries in East and West.

The Boao Forum for Asia financial cooperation conference was attended by over 350 delegates.
