Chinese, Austrian vice PMs vow to deepen economic ties

Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang met with visiting Austrian Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister of Economy Reinhold Mitterlehner in Beijing Monday.

Wang said China and Austria's economies are highly complementary, with huge potential for cooperation.

China is willing to make joint efforts with Austria to expand cooperation in energy conservation, environmental protection, high technology and agricultural products, in a bid to boost bilateral economic and trade cooperation, he said.

Mitterlehner said Austria attaches great importance to developing sound relations with China and is ready to work with China to further deepen bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
