The U.S. dollar rallied across the board Friday as data showed the U.S. employment rate fell to a six- year low and employers added more jobs than forecast, boosting market speculations for the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates earlier than expected.

In late New York trading, the euro decreased to 1.2511 dollars from 1.2674 dollars in the previous session, while the dollar bought 109.84 Japanese yen, higher than 108.41 yen of the previous session.
