China’s business travel industry kicked off with 2014 forum

The online business travel management enterprise Hotel Reservation Service Co.,Ltd (HRS) held a press conference recently for the Corporate Travel Forum 2014 in Beijing. The press conference was a prelude to its forum.

The topic of this year's forum was, "Pushing forward the innovation and transformation of business travel management." It attracted hundreds of senior industrial professionals from around the world to discuss the future of China's business travel industry.

The hot topics included the challenges of business travel management for Chinese enterprises investing abroad, and the impact new technology brings to the business travel industry.

Tobias Ragge, CEO of HRS, attended the press conference and shared his hope for the future of the industry.

"With the Corporate Travel Forum 2014, we want to be at the pulse of the continuously changing travel management [industry]," said Ragge. "We believe this forum will promote the concept of business travel management in China. "

Kimi Jiang, the managing director of greater China of HRS who is in charge of the Chinese mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, also expressed that the globalization of Chinese enterprises provides a golden opportunity for China's business travel industry.

Jiang believed that this forum will result in great advancements, and will push forward the expansion of the Chinese business travel market.
