China's auto sales up 4.04% in August

China's automobile sales hit 1.71 million units in August, up 4.04 percent year on year and 6.72 percent month on month, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on Thursday.

China's automobile output hit 1.71 million units in August, up 2.22 percent year on year, but down 0.34 percent month on month.
