US computer producer Dell Inc announced that it had signed an agreement with domestic software producer China Standard Software Co to preinstall the latter's NeoKylin operating system in Dell's commercial PCs like Latitude notebooks, news portal tech.caijing.com.cn reported over the weekend.

The move aims to meet the diversified demand of Chinese customers in operating systems, the report said.

Dell used to preinstall Microsoft Corp's Windows operating system. The US software giant is currently under an antitrust investigation launched by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.
