US premium electric car producer Tesla Wednesday signed a cooperative agreement with conglomerate China Yintai Holdings Ltd.
Under the agreement, Tesla will build parking spaces with charging facilities on Yintai commercial properties in many Chinese cities including Beijing and Hangzhou.
Also on Wednesday, Tesla parking spaces at Beijing Yintai Center started to offer free charging services to Tesla car owners.
Shares of Metro Land Corp, a listed arm of Yintai, surged 9.94 percent on the Shanghai Stock Exchange after being boosted by the news.
