Baidu Inc, China's leading search engine, signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with South Korean entertainment giant S.M. Entertainment Co, Baidu announced on its Weibo account Thursday.
As a strategic partner, Baidu's music unit will hold the exclusive license for S.M.'s digital music in the Chinese mainland and Baidu's video platform iQiyi will also carry S.M.'s music videos and performance videos in the Chinese mainland, according to Baidu's Weibo account.
