Chinese stocks close 0.89 pct lower Wednesday

Chinese shares fell on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 17.95 points, or 0.89 percent, to close at 2,010.08.

The Shenzhen Component Index lost 77.19 points, or 1.06 percent, to close at 7,234.69.
