Chinese stocks close lower Friday

Chinese shares closed lower on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 1 percent, or 20.51 points, to finish at 2,036.52.

The Shenzhen Component Index fell 1.29 percent, or 95.79 points, to close at 7,323.65.
