China stocks open higher over positive policy

China stocks opened slightly higher on Thursday after the government on Wednesday announced that tax breaks for the small and micro firms will be extended till the end of 2016.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opened at 2,063.50, up 0.22 percent. The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 7,355.21, up 0.29 percent.
