Dollar keeps rising after Fed decision

The US dollar continued rising against most major currencies Thursday, a day after the Federal Reserve kept its tapering plan and Fed Chair Janet Yellen signaled the central bank may lift interest rate in the first half of 2015.

In late New York trading, the euro declined to 1.3780 dollars from 1.3828 dollars in the previous session. The dollar bought 102. 47 Japanese yen, lower than 102.49 yen of the previous session.
