Aviation to grow in 2014

Investment in China's civil aviation industry will reach 148 billion yuan ($23.4 billion) in 2013, and the industry's total profit is expected to hit 27.3 billion yuan, financial portal money.163.com reported Monday citing the Civil Aviation Administration of China.

Airlines in China are expected to carry 390 million passengers in 2014, and 5.87 million tons of cargo, up 10.5 percent and 5.3 percent respectively from 2013.
