CSCEC buys Plaza Construction

State-owned China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) confirmed to news portal qq.com Thursday that a subsidiary of the group has purchased US-based Plaza Construction, the first overseas deal that CSCEC has ever made.

The deal, an important step for the group to become more global, will help improve CSCEC's market share in developed markets, and make the company more professional in the construction field, the news portal quoted the Wall Street Journal as saying.
