Hainan Airlines to form Xinjiang Co

Hainan Airlines said late Wednesday that the company has received approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China to set up Urumqi Airlines with partners in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.

According to the announcement, the partners will put in 3 billion yuan ($492.49 million) to establish the airline, with Hainan Airlines putting in 2.1 billion yuan.
