China stocks open lower after release of IPO reform plan

Chinese stocks opened lower on Monday, after the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) unveiled a reform plan for the initial public offering (IPO) system on Saturday.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening 0.78 percent lower at 2,203.12, and the Shenzhen Component Index dropped 0.95 percent to open at 8,461.49.
