Over 1,000 business leaders to attend APEC meeting

As many as 1,200 business leaders planned to take part on APEC meeting in Bali, Indonesia from Oct. 1 to 8, Indonesian official said here on Friday.

Spokesman of Indonesian Information and Communication Ministry Gatot S. Dewabrata told a press conference that among the event to be attended by the business leaders was APEC CEO Summit 2013.

Head of states, leaders at private sectors and other influential leaders in the region would be the speakers at the event in Westin Resort of Nusa Dua Bali, he said.

"APEC CEO Summit is going to be attended by 1,200 business leaders," Dewabrata said at Information and Communication Ministry.

Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to open the meeting, he said.
