China stocks open slightly higher Tuesday

Chinese stocks opened slightly higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening up 0.1 percent at 2,100.45.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 8,257.46 points, up 0.17 percent.
