PBOC to report on trust company loans

Trust company loans will be included in the basic database of credit information, the People's Bank of China said on Wednesday.

The statement, posted on the website of the central bank, urged trust companies already included in the database to provide timely, accurate and complete information about their loans.

It ordered companies that haven't included the data to do so as soon as possible.

The fast-growing trust sector is the largest segment of China's non-bank lending activities.
