Chinese Vice Premier meets EU trade commissioner

Vice Premier Ma Kai on Friday met with EU Trade Commissioner Karel De Gucht.

Ma said during the meeting that the Chinese government attaches great importance to developing relations with the EU and he hopes the two sides can properly resolve trade disputes under the principle of equality and mutually beneficial cooperation so as to help develop healthy China-EU ties.

The two sides agreed to hold the fourth China-EU high-level economic and trade dialogue in favorable time.
