China's top legislature will vote on a draft tourism law on Thursday at the end of its bimonthly session.

The decision was made at a meeting of the chairman and vice chairpersons of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) on Wednesday. The meeting was presided over by Chairman Zhang Dejiang.

The lawmakers will also vote on a draft list of the chairperson, vice chairpersons and members of the Credentials Committee of the NPC Standing Committee.

Before being put to a vote, all of the drafts will undergo further deliberation and revisions based on the opinions of NPC Standing Committee members.

The bi-monthly session is scheduled to run from Tuesday to Thursday.
