Top global chipmaker Intel is holding its 14th annual developer forum, or IDF in China on Wednesday and Thursday.
Senior Intel executives announced new technologies and partnerships aimed at transforming how people experience technology from devices to cloud. This includes new data center product lines based on a 22-nanometer process technology, along with details of the upcoming 4th generation Intel Core processor family. Intel is keen to deliver a portfolio of both hardware and software based on its strong computing power.
On the first day of the forum, it attracted nearly 5,000 attendees ranging from senior management of various IT companies to everyday tech fanatics.
