Taiwan's unemployment rate lowers in November

Taiwan's unemployment rate dropped to 4.27 percent in November, the lowest in the second half of the year, according to Taiwan's statistics authorities Saturday.

The unemployment rate of 4.27 percent was 0.06 percentage point less than in October.

The number of unemployed people in Taiwan stood at 487,000, or 6,000 less than the previous month, while the number of employed people in November increased by 21,000 to 10.92 million.
