63 percent of Android users not interested in iPhones

A recent report published by ACNeilsen said that 63 percent of typical Android users are not interested in iPhones, according to news on Oct. 22.

The report showed that nearly 60 million Americans use Android mobile phones every day, more than any other mobile equipment. Among them, about 85 percent send text messages to others every day, 30 percent send text messages to over 10 persons and 70 percent have received text messages and calls from the junk mails senders and telemarketing personnel.

In terms of applications of Android, only 34 percent of users download some application relying on recommendation of their friends and 50 percent will first choose to find new applications in Google Play.

Interestingly, 63 percent said that they are not interested to buy an iPhone.

In addition, nearly 50 percent buys a new mobile phone just for having a new device and 30 percent buys a new Android mobile phone because the old was lost or damaged. Among smartphone users whose average annual mobile phone fee is about 1,000 U.S. dollars, Android users prefer cheap phone purchase combo and better geographical coverage.
