The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Thursday expressed surprise and anger at the remarks by U.S. Vice President Mike Pence that the DPRK might end like Libya.

Choe Son Hui, the DPRK's vice foreign minister, said she would put forward a suggestion to DPRK top leader Kim Jong Un for reconsidering the DPRK-U.S. summit scheduled for June 12, according to the Korean Central News Agency.

"Whether the U.S. will meet us at a meeting room or encounter us at nuclear-to-nuclear showdown is entirely dependent upon the decision and behavior of the United States," she said.
