The first postal souvenirs for mobile phone game Travel Frog became available from Sunday in Shanghai, Chinanews reported on Monday.
Fans of the game can now go to China Post's Lancun Road or Xuhui branches to collect related post cards, notebooks, stamps and postmarks about the game. There is also a large model of a frog for fans to take selfies with.
In the game, a frog sends players souvenirs and postcards collected from its travels around the world. Now these virtual postcards from the game can be printed out and sent in the real world.
The first collection of eight postcards show the frog's daily routine, such as writing, reading, looking at a map, eating food and packing a bag. "The buyers are mostly young adults," said a postal employee from the Xuhui branch, where the first 200 stamp collections were sold out within hours.
