Ten people were killed and one was injured after the minibus crashed head-on into a heavy truck around 1 p.m. Saturday on a national highway stretch in Yangxin County, according to local police.

The police said 11 people were aboard the seven-seat minibus registered in Jiangxi Province, 60 percent overloaded, when the accident happened.

Ten died and the injured is receiving treatment in a local hospital with no life dangers.

The 11 people on the minibus were natives of Ruichang City in Jiangxi.
