DPRK delegates arrive at S Korean Blue House to meet President Moon

High-ranking delegates from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) arrived at the South Korean Blue House Saturday to meet and have lunch with President Moon Jae-in, local TV footage showed. [Special coverage]

The DPRK's Olympic delegation, led by Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, departed from a hotel in Seoul at about 10:30 a.m. local time, taking about 30 minutes to get to the presidential complex.

Kim Yo Jong, the younger sister of top DPRK leader Kim Jong Un who serves as the first vice director of the Central Committee of the ruling Workers' Party of Korea, came to the Blue House. She attended the opening ceremony of the South Korea-hosted Winter Olympics on Friday night together with the top DPRK legislator.

Also included in the ranking DPRK delegates who came to the Blue House were Choe Hwi, chairman of the National Sports Guidance Committee, and Ri Son Gwon, chairman of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland.
