Colombian midfielder Giovanni Moreno scored twice to help Shanghai Shenhua beat Guangzhou R&F 3-1 at home on Saturday in the 26th round of 2017 Chinese Super League.
This is the first victory for Shanghai Shenhua in the recent 8 rounds. Fredy Guarin, compatriot of Giovanni Moreno, broke the deadlock in the 27th minute through a free kick, and Moreno scored in the 46th minute by a penalty kick.
Xiao Zhi's header pulled a goal back for Guangzhou R&F in the 55th minute, and Moreno scored again in the 91st minute to seal the victory.
In the Tianjin derby, Teda beat Quanjian 4-1 to stop its 12 winless streak and escaped from the relegation zone.
Ghanaian forward Frank Acheampong scored twice in the 25th and 27th minutes, and Li Yuanyi scored from long distance in the 75th minute to put Tianjin Teda lead 3-0 ahead.
Tianjin Quanjian's Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato scored in the 85th minute, and Wang Jie's own goal helped Tianjin Teda beat Tianjin Quanjian 4-1.
Spanish striker Ruben Castro's goal in the 90th minute helped Guizhou Hengfeng beat Jiangsu Suning 1-0. Yanbian's Cui Ren scored in the 68th minute to beat Liaoning 1-0 who fell to the bottom of table.
