Chinese premier expresses condolences to his Dominican counterpart

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has sent condolences to Dominican Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit after his country was lashed by Hurricane Maria.

In his message dated on Sept. 20, Li expressed his condolences to the victims of the hurricane and extended his sympathy to the injured and bereaved families.

Hurricane Maria landed in Dominica on Monday evening with a speed of 260 km a hour, killing at least 15 people and leaving 20 missing as of Thursday, according to Skerrit.
