A massive landslide in southwest China blocked Highway 213 for three hours on Sunday.

The landslide, which happened at 15:45, saw 20,000 cubic meters of mud fall onto the road, completely blocking access to traffic.

An emergency team, including personnel from the public security bureau, land resources and the roads and traffic departments, were sent to the site.

Excavating machinery was used to clear the road and by 18:30 traffic was back to normal.

According to the emergency office of Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province, no deaths or injuries were reported.
