Warriors' Durant named Most Valuable Player of NBA Finals

Kevin Durant was named the unanimous Most Valuable Player of the NBA Finals after the Golden State Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 129-120 on Monday night at Oracle Arena in Game 5 of the Finals.

Durant, who signed with the Warriors last summer, was instrumental in his team's 4-1 series win over the Cavaliers to capture his first NBA title and the team's second in three seasons.

The 28-year-old averaged 35.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists in the best-of-seven Finals.
