China sends condolences to Myanmar over missing military aircraft

China on Thursday sent its condolences to Myanmar regarding a missing military aircraft, with more than 100 people on board.

Media outlets reported that a military plane from Myanmar lost contact with ground control Wednesday afternoon. Passenger bodies and aircraft debris were found in the sea off the southern coast of Myanmar Thursday.

Hua Chunying said that China sent its condolences to the victims and stood ready to provide necessary assistance to Myanmar.
