Around 100 posters created by international designers will be displayed at an exhibition to commemorate the Nanjing Massacre, the Memorial Hall for the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre in east China's Jiangsu Province announced Wednesday.

The 2017 International Poster Biennale Exhibition for Peace Nanjing is part of the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Nanjing Massacre, in which more than 300,000 Chinese lives were taken by Japanese invaders when they occupied Nanjing from Dec. 13, 1937.

The hall will collect submissions of more than 2,000 posters, with the dual themes of "remember" and "future,"from designers and agencies worldwide, about 100 of which will displayed in the exhibition.

The submission process begins Wednesday and runs until October 15.
