Surveillance video shows the horrifying moment a car drove over a little girl crossing a road in Tianzhu county of southwest China's Guizhou Province on Friday.
The girl was left behind while crossing the road with her elder brother and sister following their grandfather.
Fortunately, she fell into the gap between the car's wheels and only suffered minor bruises.
"The medical scans showed that her nasal bones are fine, but she lost part of her gums in the accident," said the child's uncle.
The police said the driver took responsibility for the incident, but the girl's grandfather was also to blame for failing to keep the girl safe.
